Who Walks Your Dog? is a full-service pet care provider in Mt. Pleasant, SC. We are growing, taking on new clients, and are looking to add experienced dog walkers and pet sitters to our roster.

We offer our clients the best customer service, exceptional pet care and only work with experienced and qualified pet care professionals like yourself. We carefully match you with a client and pet(s) that best fits your schedule, service area, and abilities. We pay above average rates for services you provide and incentives such as a rate increase after 3 months of consistent service. We encourage continual education and training and offer partial tuition reimbursements. When you walk with us, we mange all the customer service, invoicing, and scheduling and alert you to requests. As an independent contractor you have flexibility to work when you want, where you want, and to take several dogs together, or focus on individual neighborhood walks.

Service Areas in Charleston County

Located in Mount Pleasant, SC, we provide service in Mt. Pleasant, Sullivan’s Island, Daniel Island, Charleston, and surrounding areas. We make an effort to match you with pets in an area that will maximize your time, so you are not zig-zagging all over the county. Most of our dog walking services are requested between 9 am – 3 pm, with some exceptions for early morning and evening visits.


Requirements for part-time contract dog walking:

  • Available Monday-Friday, or Tuesday/Thursday, or Monday/Wednesday/Friday, or Saturday/Sunday.
  • Have a dog friendly, insured and reliable car.
  • LOVE dogs and/or cats, generally you find all animals adorable.
  • Can serve clients in Charleston County.
  • Can commit to a minimum of 3 months.
  • Can pass a criminal/background check.

Requirements for as-needed contract overnight pet sitting:
Please note: most overnight sits require you to be in the client’s home from 6 pm – 8 am
(24 hour stays usually allow for 4 hours of personal time daily).

  • Have at least 2 local overnight pet sitting references.
  • Have an insured, reliable and pet friendly car.
  • Absolutely love animals, are comfortable with dogs, cats, and other household pets (ie: birds, hamsters, turtles, rabbits).
  • Can commit to a minimum of 3 months active listing on our team roster.
  • Are available for both short and long term sits (from 2 nights to 3 weeks).
  • Are clean, tidy and respectful in the client’s home.
  • Can pass a criminal/background check.

Helpful, not required:

  • Are experienced giving oral and sub-q medication.

Other qualifications for dog walking and pet sitting may be required for specific client service requests and will be discussed when assignments are offered to you.
